I have years of experience working with children, adolescents, teens and adults who may struggle with life transitions, trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use/abuse, ADHD, anger management, maternal mental health issues and diagnosis, dual diagnosis and more.

Shannon Nixson, MA LPC, Therapist
Shannon D. Nixson, MA, LPC graduated from Xavier University with her Masters in Community Mental Health. She completed her undergraduate work at Wilmington College and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. She has been licensed in the State of Ohio to practice counseling since 2011 She is skilled in multiple psychotherapy modalities and utilizes dialectical behavior therapy, trauma-informed care, and cognitive restructuring dynamics. Shannon enjoys working with adult women and adolescent youth (ages 14-17). Shannon is native to Cincinnati, Ohio and enjoys serving youth and families in her community.
Monique Mozee, MSW LSW, Therapist
Monique Mozee is a Licensed Social Worker and Kentucky native. She graduated from the University of Louisville with her Masters in Social Work in 2019. She has also earned her Masters in Justice Administration in 2013, and two Bachelor Degrees in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Kentucky in 2010. Monique has been a licensed Social Worker in the State of Ohio since 2020 and has a certificate in Forensic Social Work from the National Organization of Forensic Social Work.
She thoroughly enjoys serving the youth population and is currently accepting clients ages 8-30. She has worked with clients affected by trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, grief, and intimate partner violence. She prefers a client centered approach to helping clients work through challenges as they are more aware of what they feel and need. Monique is trauma informed and utilizes a combination of Solution Focused, Person Centered, Somatic, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
Aiisha Bright, MSW LSW, Therapist
I am Aiisha Bright and I am originally from the St.Louis area. I completed my undergraduate degree in Studio Arts, from Quincy University before deciding to start my Masters in Social work at Simmons University. I completed my Masters in Social Work in 2019. My passion is working with children/adolescents and their families. I call myself a “therapeutic clown” for my littles and through talk, art, play and other meaningful activities, my hope is to help lead each of my clients towards their goal(s).

I have worked within early childhood day treatment settings, for ages 3-8 years old. I have also worked with adolescents in the same day treatment setting ( ages 13-18). I have experience working with children and adolescents with behavioral concerns alongside mental health. Some alcohol and substance use experience, with resources for referrals. Working with families to build a stronger family unit is the ultimate goal. I am currently taking on clients ( children, adolescents, young adults and some space for couples). I would be happy to complete a consultation with you and see if I would be a good fit for you and your overall goals.
Brandi Rahim MSW LISW, Therapist
Hi, my name is Brandi Rahim, LISW. I have over 13 years of experience in mental health and have been in private practice for 4 years. I specialize in Trauma, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression and other mood disorders. I also work with those who are experiencing challenges in motherhood, relationships, and balancing career/home life. I am trained in EMDR for those with complex trauma. I use mindfulness, breathwork and reiki in my practice and encourage body movement, sound therapy and other forms of somatic and holistic modalities.
Maati Wafford LSW, Therapist
I am Porcha D. Wafford, LSW, known to most as Maati. I graduated from Fisk University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Education and received a Master's from Howard University’s School of Social Work. As a licensed social worker in Ohio, I offer holistic counseling support grounded in somatic healing and social justice to move individuals toward self-care and sovereignty.

I hold an intentional liberatory space for adolescents, teens, and adults who require support with life transitions, and the experience of grief, depression, and anxiety. I utilize narrative therapeutic techniques and mindfulness to support individuals in taking the lead in their transformation while creating the script for their own lives.

Jessika Bass LSW, Therapist
Jessika L. Bass is a Cincinnati native. Jessika obtained both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from The University of Cincinnati. Jessika is a social worker who specializes in mental health. Thus far Jessika has dedicated her career to fostering community wholeness which has led to her passion for mental health. Jessika's passion for education and prevention drives her to make a positive impact in the field, believing that knowledge empowers individuals to make better choices. With over 15 years of experience in the mental health field and 2 years as a therapist, Jessika has successfully impacted her community. Jessika has led the social work internship program at the University of Cincinnati College of medicine, managed the peer program, and been recognized by her peers as the NASW’s 2024 emerging leader. Additionally, Jessika serves on the board of Prevention First. Jessika is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in social work.
Jackia Freeman, MFT
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in Couples Therapy. I work with couples on a variety of topics including improving relationships, conflict resolution, self care and self love, understanding life’s changes, navigating parenthood together, finding identity and purpose, finding healthy coping strategies for anxiety and depression, or being a listening ear for any topic.
